CA Joint Info Session & Speaker Series

Interested in pursuing the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation?

Come to the joint CA Information Session and CA Speaker Series to learn about a career in this dynamic profession as well as a non-traditional route to obtaining your CA Designation.

The CA profession has changed dramatically over the past half century, keeping in pace with the rapid evolution of business. CAs are the leading authority on auditing and tax issues, but did you know they are also at the forefront of new business valuations, corporate and personal financial planning, insolvency, and environmental and forensic accounting?

Jennifer Weintraub, the CA Recruiter from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, will provide more information, as well as answer any questions about the CA designation.

Thinking of pursuing a CA Designation but want a career outside Public Practice?

Coast Capital Savings is a CA Training Office that can help you get your CA Designation without having to work at a public practice firm. Frances Yip, Finance Director and Chief Accountant at Coast Capital Savings will talk about the CA designation and ways in which you can use it in today’s ever changing business environment.

Refreshments will be served.
