Duties and Job Roles:

The main responsibility of the President is to ensure all Accounting Student Association events are delivered with the highest quality possible. I represent the accounting student body at Simon Fraser University in the BC Accounting Clubs Committee and to the different designation institutes. Furthermore, I oversee all activities of the association and ensure the Constitution is followed. Lastly, I coordinate the implementation of objectives of the year 2011 – 2012.

About me:

Hello, my name is Jay Min and I am third year SFU Beedie School of Business student. I love jazz music. I love watching basketball games. I love hanging out with my friends. I would call myself an idealist. My favorite quote is “Whenever anyone has offended me, I try to raise my soul so high that the offense cannot reach it” by Rene Descartes.

Family and friends.

My happiest or proudest moment?

My happiest moment is when I eat. The food does not necessarily have to be luxurious because taste always changes depends on how hungry I am or people I am eating with.

Where on the globe do you want to be in 10 years?

Obviously I will be in a spaceship going on a trip to Mars.

If 2012 actually came true, how would you spend your last day on earth and why?

Since there will be no tomorrow, having a good relaxing usual day seems to be the best thing I can do. I would spend my day with people I love. I would have nice meals. However, I would do something nice to them that I never could do.
